A rejected concept for a Rhymesayers’ Playlist, titled “MF DOOM FOREVER.”  This started with the creation of the mask logo and was melded with the circlular theme to hint at the “forever” or “infinity” concept.

07 SA-ROC LOGO PATTERNS

This is part of a nine-part series of logo patterns that I made for Sa-Roc’s album, The Sharecropper’s Daughter. First, the nine logos were made based on imagery that Sa-Roc felt pertained the album and her life. They were then turned into the textured patterns that could be used on various marketing materials. This particular logo was based on the song “40 and a Mule.”

09 DJ ABILITIES HEAD ANIMATION

This was another example of the 80’s graphics that look to the future. We didn’t want to go staight futuristic. We wanted the look of the future that the past was trying to predict, which is how the album sounds sonically to me. The head graphic also referers to the album cover, which depicts a nodescript human form DJing.
